We have 3 little kids and 1 little girl.
Silkies are very similar in plannings to the Yorkshire Terrier. Developed at the end of the 1800's in Australia, the Silky Terrier was produced when a variety of Yorkshire Terriers from England were brought into parts of Australia and bred to Australian Terrier. Smooth Terriers are very healthy. Really rarely do Silkies have health concerns until extremely old.
The very best part is that although they are quite comparable in size and want to the Yorkie, they do not have the health issues associated with the Yorkie.
Young puppies are AKC signed up, immunized, and health examined.
